They both love and enjoy Chinese culture and actively participate in various cultural experiences and activities. They actively assist the college in international student management, English translation, proofreading of articles and other work. LAYKEN MOONSAMY has ranked 1st in the grade with an outstanding GPA of 91.78. ROZANNE JORDAN has also participated in a CCTV program recording as a violinist.

In order to select and encourage international students who are known for their friendship, good conduct and outstanding achievements, the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange of the Ministry of Education has launched a selection of “Outstanding International Students in China” as of 2015. This selection is inclusive of universities across China. MBBS students of Basic Medical Sciences have won awards for excellent results and good performance year after year, and we encourage that more students strive to do their best. So far, 14 of our students since 2015 have won this award.
