Opening ceremony of the MBBS G2025 was held on Baotuquan campus on September 29, 2025. All G2025 MBBS freshmen, senior student representatives and teachers from office attended the event. Mr. Tang Yuchun, Deputy Director of the Office of International Exchange of Cheeloo College of Medicine, addressed the ceremony.
In his speech, Tang Yuchun introduced the great history and development of medical education of Shandong University, and encouraged students to pursue their medical dreams, strive to become a doctor who saves lives and healing the wounded, and contribute their own strength to the medical and health cause of their own country and the world in the future.
The representative of senior student Joanna of G2021 shared her experiences of studying in Shandong University. ASAL ALIKHANI, the freshman CR, spoke on behalf of the freshmen, expressed their expectations for their new life, and encouraged the class to work together for a best class.
At the end of the event, the students read the Physician’s Pledge.
