On June 8, MBBS students took part in a cultural exchange event on traditional ethnic sports, organized by the Academic Network for Sports of China-CEEC Higher Education Institutions Consortium. This event served as a featured activity supporting the 2025 International Conference on the Development of Sports Disciplines and provided an immersive platform for international and Chinese students to experience traditional Chinese sports culture.
The students first attended an international academic exchange session, followed by captivating performances showcasing various forms of traditional Chinese martial arts, including Zha Fist, Mantis Fist, Plum Blossom Fist, and traditional Yang-style Tai Chi Fist. The venue also featured cultural exhibition areas, interactive communication zones, and hands-on experience booths. Students actively participated in the activities and engaged with the traditional practices, contributing to a vibrant and lively atmosphere.
This event not only deepened the students’ understanding of traditional Chinese sports culture but also highlighted its profound heritage. It offered a valuable opportunity for cross-cultural engagement and mutual learning.
